It took a while, but Jerian Grant is finally emerging as the player many thought him to be coming out of Notre Dame. The timing could be a little better for him, though; the Knicks only have one more game before they are all done for the season. It really would have been more advantageous for Jerian to have moved his emergence up a month, so he could get more games in as the lead guard.
Now, instead of being able to use this sudden growth in confidence and playing time to accelerate his development, he gets to sit around all offseason and stagnate. Oh well. At least he’s finally better than Tim Hardaway Jr., maybe. Maybe not though. Why did that trade happen again?
