I bet Scott Skiles is so mad right now. Normally he would never give Mario Hezonja any minutes but he probably had a directive from higher up that the rookie had to play big minutes in the last few meaningless games of the season. There’s no other explanation. Skiles would rather get confronted by all his illegitimate children at the same time about how he’s been a poor father than give a promising rookie the minutes he deserves.
Hezonja made the most of his forty minutes of court time by shooting efficiently from the field and also setting up his teammates for even more buckets. They weren’t the world’s coolest assists by any means, but not everybody can be Jason Williams out there. Hezonja also threw down some dunks, but, again, they weren’t the coolest dunks. In fact, even describing them as “throw downs” is being way too generous to Hezonja. Skiles could probably right now throw down with more power and fury. So, overall, this video is recommended watching for anybody who lives in embattled former Yugoslavian states, but Americans or other Europeans should just tune in to my Seth Curry vid instead.
