Derrick Williams 21 Points Full Highlights (4/12/2016)

The final buzzer sounds. The first game of the season has ended, with the Knicks victorious over the presumably playoff-bound Bucks, 122-97. Kristaps Porzingis looked okay, but the real star was Derrick Williams, who scored 24 points in only 21 minutes. Carmelo didn’t have a great game, but now that the Knicks have other players who can step up, the playoffs are no longer an unattainable goal! It’s only 1 game, but things are looking great for this newly constructed team with Derek Fisher at the helm!

The final buzzer sounds. The last game of the season has ended, with the Knicks putting in yet another half-hearted effort, this time against the playoff-bound Pacers. The Knicks find themselves far away from a .500 record, finishing at 32 and 50. Carmelo didn’t play in this one, having spent all his energy trying desperately to keep his team afloat. Kristaps didn’t play either, sitting with an embellished injury after slumping for the last third of the season. Derek Fisher is long gone, fired due to equal parts incompetence and arrogance. Derrick Williams had 21 points, starting this time, but his production was inconsistent throughout the year, as was the production of every other player on the roster. Where did it all go so wrong? And where do they go from here?
