Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 21 Points Full Highlights (4/17/2016)

Damn. I really wanted the Pistons to win this game, to show up the hastily-assembled big three of the Cavaliers with a sound display of team play reminiscent of the last Pistons championship team. They didn’t, though, and now we are left with yet another reminder that superstars triumph in almost all scenarios. Oh well. Can’t win them all, I guess. Hopefully the Pistons win at least one.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, had he continued his hot first-quarter shooting through the rest of the game, could have been the driving force of a theoretical victory. But he’s just a role-player whose shot comes and goes at random; it was unlikely that he’d significantly elevate his play for the whole game. The Pistons need someone else to step up if they want to find success. Could that person be… Aron Baynes?????????
