Raymond Felton was about a millionth of a second away from being a HUGE ball-gargling choker against the Thunder. Missing two free throws while up by one followed by the opposition hitting the game-winner as time expires? That’s bad. Really bad. That invalidates all the good that he did this game. Missing two free throws while up by one followed by the opposition hitting the game-winner right after time expires? No problemo. No one cares. All smiles.
Aside from that little miscue at the end, Felton had a great game. No one was expecting 21 points in the playoffs from a fatty who everyone considered done just a few years ago. Not to mention the 11 rebounds grabbed by fatty who is also pretty short. There’s no way he can replicate this performance again in the series, but at least it will make an interesting footnote in the Thunder championship DVD.
