Unfortunately for all you viewers out there, this video, while technically a shining example of the craft of highlight-making, does not truly encompass the full “Steven Adams Experience”. For most players, field goals and blocked shots constitute “highlights”. But for Steven Adams, the real highlights are on plays that don’t show up in the box score: the constant grappling and battling, the falling onto the hardwood, the getting under the opposition’s skin. These are the areas where Adams excels, but they are also the areas towards which I do not direct your gaze. What can I say? In the interest of time, I am a slave to the statsheet.
