Tim Frazier Career High 21 Points/10 Assists Full Highlights (10/28/2016)

Because the Pelicans are forever cursed when it comes to their alleged starting point guard, Jrue Holiday, us fans are treated to extra helpings of “The Crazier Frazier”. So it was at the end of last season, so it is at the beginning of this season, so it will be until Jrue Holiday comes back. And then so it will be again when Jrue Holiday reinjures some part of himself in his second or third game.

It’s well-known that the Smoothie King Center was built on the location of an old voodoo witch lady’s house, so that would explain why Jrue Holiday is cursed in the way he is. Tim Frazier apparently is not so cursed, since he has regularly, and I mean REGULARLY, puts up double-digit assists games even when he mostly has to pass to subpar offensive players. He has Anthony Davis, sure, but he’s also sharing the court with Dante Cunningham and Solomon Hill. Not exactly “scorers” – not until Frazier starts making their lives easier.

The Pelicans have failed to win many games with Frazier running the show, so it remains to be seen whether he is a “winner”, a concept that the basketball punditry is unduly obsessed with. I won’t worry about whether he’s a winner or not. I’m just going to sit here and worry about whether he can average ten assists per game this year. I think yes.
