It doesn’t even feel like it, but this is one of Trevor Ariza’s best scoring games as a Rocket. (At least in his second tenure. His first tenure with them happened so long ago that the only thing I remember from that period of my life is that occasion when I masturbated 8 times in a row and had to go the doctor because I rubbed all the skin off.) I know! It’s weird. The scoring of Ariza, not the other thing. Really weird. I guess I just got used to him putting up big numbers with the Wizards and assumed he was doing the same with the Rockets.
He did it so quietly, too. I could watch these highlights right now and come away with the impression that he scored like 19 or 20 points. You know what? I’m gonna try it right now. I’ll report back with my findings. I should only be gone a minute or two.
