Austin Rivers 19 Points Full Highlights (10/30/2016)

It is well-known among NBA fans that if you have a good game against a subpar defender or subpar defensive team, the good game doesn’t count. Taking that into account, Austin “Save Me from the D-League Daddy” Rivers’ efficient 8-of-11 shooting night is made null by the fact that Slow Joe Ingles was guarding him for large portions of the contest.

I have made a list of defenders where a good game will definitely count because they made you work for it:

-Kawhi Leonard
-Tony Allen
-Kentavious Caldwell-Pope there now Pistons fans don’t have to hate me anymore ok
-Justise Winslow
-Andre Roberson

And that’s it. If you do your damage while anybody else, ANYBODY else, is defending you, it doesn’t count because it was too easy. Rivers had it too easy against Ingles so none of it counts. I already contacted the NBA so they can revise his point total down to six points on 3-of-10 shooting.

I mean, think about it. If I scored a hundred against middle schoolers, and I was defended by the slowest and fattest of them all, would that count? No. Checkmate atheists.
