What’s up with Buddy Hield? He was my pick for Rookie of the Year, and he’s making me look like a total DUMBASS. Me and a whole bunch of other people who figured (not without reason) that a four-year college player would be able to come in and contribute from day one.
I don’t care that he’s only four games into his career. I want answers NOW. Answers to questions like “Why is he only shooting 7% from three”, “Why is he content to waste Anthony Davis’ prime”, and “His hair looks stupid”.
Even this game, while technically “highlight worthy” only because I am actually doing highlights of it, wasn’t that good. 4 of 10 from the field, 1 of 6 from three, with 4 turnovers and a steal. At least he hit the three, the first of his career. He’s gonna have to hit a few more if he wants a successful rookie season.
