The Hawks scorekeepers need to be fired. Is there a hashtag or something for requests like this? Do I need to make one myself? Because this is the second time this season that they have, either deliberately or ignorantly, sabotaged my highlight-making efforts. First it was Tim Hardaway Jr. and his phantom bucket, now it is Dënniß ßchrööder and 2 phantom assists.
Dënniß was credited for two assists late in the first quarter that were BS: his assist at 3:43 was actually him passing to Mike Muscala, who then dished to Paul Millsap, while the one 2:36 was Thabo Sefolosha picking up a loose ball (lost by Millsap), faking a pass to Tim Hardaway Jr. and canning a jumper. Dënniß wasn’t even involved in the second one.

The official total for ßchrööder-dimes is 12, which isn’t actually too far off considering a successful alley-oop to Muscala definitely should count for three assists.
