Remember when everybody got hyped for Andre Roberson in last year’s playoffs because he was actually scoring points? They were all like, “Haha yeah Roberson’s playing really well, haha, we’re just pretending that the Thunder wouldn’t be way better if they had somebody at his position who could score.” Actually, that’s an unfair characterization. The Thunder did have somebody who could score (Dion Waiters), but that someone was so unreliable that Roberson still got major minutes in every game.
Now the Thunder have somebody a little bit more reliable manning the shooting guard spot (Victor Oladipo), but apparently the Thunder are short on small forwards so they’re starting Roberson there instead. Now Thunder fans are all like, “Haha yeah Roberson’s playing really well, the team’s better with him on because of his defense, his lack of offense doesn’t matter anyway because BEASTBROOK LOL.” In truth, Roberson would never start, except the only viable small forwards behind him are whipping boy Kyle Singler and out of control spaz Jerami Grant. If that’s not the worst rotation of small forwards in the league, I don’t know what is. Probably something the Bucks have.
