The Grizzlies weren’t really supposed to beat the Clippers. The Clippers are good. The Grizzlies are bad (although, theoretically, they’re okay if everybody’s healthy). Maybe the Grizzlies played harder because of the alleged “rivalry” between the two teams. Who knows. All I know is, J.J. Redick essentially went bonkers in the second half and for most of it, the dopey ESPN commentators just sat there and sucked their thumbs (or sucked something else LOL [lots of laughs]) instead of providing actual basketball commentary.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I love it when the commentators shut up for a bit. Hearing Mark Jackson’s voice always triggers me. But their job isn’t to shut up. Their job is to get us excited for J.J. Redick hitting three-pointers, and they didn’t do that job. I had to create my own hype by injecting a liquid form of cocaine directly into my jugular vein.
I have a feeling DTB isn’t long for this world. If this is my last video, at least it was a good one, worthy of the unreal, mind-blowing levels of hype I am currently experiencing. All the bros who watched my videos are the best bros in the world.
