Is it time for me to stop doing Kristaps Porzingis highlights? In case you missed it, here’s the DownToBuck manifesto, written on the day I started this channel:
“I make NBA highlights. I like to give some spotlight to the lesser known players.”
Krispy definitely falls into the first category. He is an NBA player who has performances that are worthy of being highlit. It’s that second part that gives me pause. He may have been a “lesser known player” in his rookie year. At least at the beginning of that season. Now? He is a star in America’s largest media market, with legions of fawning fans scattered all across the globe.
He’s not a rookie anymore. My policy is that rookies are always fair game for highlights. My only regret is that I wasn’t around to make rookie LeBron and KD vids.
Here’s another problem: I frickin’ ENJOY to HECK making Krispy highlights. When he’s on, he’s got one of the most aesthetic games in the league. I want to keep delivering the goods, even if he gets 30 separate vids made by 30 different channels if he even so much as farts on Carmelo’s fat face.
We’ll see. These 35 points might be the tipping point, because this is one of the most BALLER single-game vids I’ve ever done. It’s just so god-damn baller. Kristaps is the ballerest.
