Ah yes, the fabled “career-high in career-highs”. An achievement only, uh, achieved, by the greatest players, or players playing in their first career game. Terry Rozier is one of those great players, having debuted in the NBA long before this.
Full disclosure: this actually ties both his career-highs in assists and points, not setting either of them outright. Sorry if you got too excited.
Still, that means that this is the best game of The Rozenkreuzer’s career, a new high-water mark for him. Celtics fans will take any good news that they can get at this point, as it turns out that keeping the same team as last year (only introducing Al Horford to the mix) doesn’t magically add 15 wins or whatever they were expecting. If Rozier can keep this up, he maybe can add 1 win. That’s pretty good, and then take the 1 win that Gerald Green maybe will add… nope. Not happening.
