When James Harden gives his MVP speech, he’d better devote a whole section of it to talking about how good Clint Capela is at catching lobs.
I’m thinking like 10-15 minutes of the speech would be good. That still leaves like 10 minutes to talk about all the other stuff he wants to. Plenty of time for that stuff, but he’s really gotta make sure to emphasize that the Capellmeister is really, REALLY good at catching lobs, and can also catch other kinds of passes when he needs to.
If Harden wants, he could even spend the whole speech talking about that aspect of Capela’s game. It would be too bad if he sold Capela short by not talking about his alley-oop dunking ability. Think how bad Capela would feel! It’d be like a slap in the face, not getting the recognition of being the main reason for the MVP in the first place.
