This video is good because it doesn’t have any layups. In case you missed the memo that I sent to everybody, basically I just find layups to be really unaesthetic and boring, and I resent it when I have to make a video where the player does nothing but make layups. On the other side of the highlight video coin, I really enjoy it when I player just splashes jumpers for all of his points.
There is one floater in this video. That’s not quite a layup but it’s also not a jumpshot. My opinions on floaters have been well-publicized and I will not repeat my thoughts on the subject in this description.
So, as I said earlier, this video is good. It’s fun to watch. It would be better if Marcus Morris would shoot the ball faster on some of his shots, since it’s boring to watch him stand around and size up Isaiah Thomas, but that’s a minor complaint. Another minor complaint is I don’t know what happened to George Blaha but I hope he comes back soon because Morris was definitely “firing it and filling it” but Blaha wasn’t around to say it.
