Larry Nance needs to watch some footage of first-three-seasons Blake Griffin and take copious notes on how to dunk in-game. Griffin was (and sadly is no longer) amazingly talented at dunking with fury EVERY TIME. Not just sometimes. Not just when he felt like it. Not just when Timofey Mozgov was in the vicinity. No, nearly all of his dunks resonated with raw power and hatred towards mankind.
Nance can be the same way. He has shown many times that he can slam down with the best of them. But so often, if he’s not heavily contested, he just lightly puts it in. That’s not how MEN dunk, Larry! If he has to pretend he’s postering David West every time, than that’s what he has to do.
These six dunks are pretty good. But they could be a whole lot better.
