This other guy pretty much ruins this video. Has he never seen Kristaps Porzingis play before in his life? He’s reacting to normal Krispy moves with unwarranted jubilation. That would be fine if this was like Krispy’s first game in the league, otherwise, save the faux-disbelief for when Kuzminskas scores in double figures (UPDATE: apparently Kuzminskas scored in double figures this game, but I really meant more like 15). Honestly, you might be better served muting this video and putting on some Kenny G or something. Everyone makes fun of Kenny, but I find his music quite pleasant. Haters gonna hate.
Is Clyde dead? Is that why he isn’t commentating this game? I hope not, because I don’t think I can watch any more Knicks games until he comes back. Please don’t be dead Clyde.
I seriously considered grabbing my mic and recording some classic Frazier commentary to place over the top of this video. “posting and toasting”, “huffing and stuffing”, “the neophyte has been a delight”, all these lines and more reenacted by the sultry voice of DownToBuck himself. That would have been sweet. Damn, now I’m regretting not doing it.
