I don’t normally show rebounds. Who wants to watch Andre Drummond grab a bunch of boards just by being big? Nobody. Maybe a few demented Pistons fans from Flint whose minds are addled by their lead-contaminated water. That’s it. No sane person wants to watch bigman rebounds.
That’s why I no longer indicate rebounds in my video titles. If I don’t show them, why should the video title advertise them? It follows, then, that in this video, I DO show all 17 of Jeremy Lamb’s rebounds. And I do. 17 of them. 17 god-damn rebounds. For Jeremy Lamb. Who didn’t play last game, because he sucks. Yeah. THAT Jeremy Lamb.
The commentators are just as disbelieving as I was when I saw the boxscore. That’s good. If they had treated this like a routine occurrence I would’ve been pissed. Because this is 17 rebounds for Jeremy Lamb. The only person less likely to grab that many boards on the Hornets is Roy Hibbert.
The Lambkin also had 18 points, but those are really secondary to all the boards he stole from Cody Zeller.
