The “Brook Lopez shooting threes” experiment continues unabated. It’s producing, uh, results. Definitely some sort of results. That’s what experiments do, and this one’s doing it. You can expect nothing less while he shoots five (god damn) three-pointers (holy balls) a game (what).
We have moved from the “can Brook Lopez even shoot these things at all” phase of the experiment to the “let’s see how far he can shoot them from before he has to start jumping” phase. Preliminary results are: he has to jump a little bit if he’s two feet behind the top of the arc. Otherwise, he can still shoot that landbound jumper he has perfected over the years. He and Luke Babbitt: taking the “jump” out of “jumper”.
