I’ve figured out a possible solution for the Pistons’ recent woes: instead of a team-only meeting, how about a Reggie Jackson-only meeting?
Rather than having all the players come together to air their grievances, which only leads to hurt feeling and worse chemistry, instead just have Reggie Jackson go into the locker room and talk to himself for 30 or so minutes. He can talk about which teammates he hates, which teammates he likes, how much he despises SVG’s coaching style, what color the carpet is, or anything else that he wants. Perfect!
When he’s done with the meeting, he can come out and tell his teammates that everything should be good now, and they can start winning games again. And you know what? I bet they will. Because that’s what Reggie Jackson-only meetings can do for a franchise.
