Out of respect for Lakers fans and their noted devotion to their team, I will not bring up the similarities between Brandon Ingram and Kyle Anderson, even though I think it is an apt comparison. It is not the time nor the place to compare a prized 2nd overall pick with a guy who all Spurs fans hate.
Instead, I will make note of all the good things that Ingram did in this game, things that Kyle Anderson would probably never be able to do:
-He made some nifty alley-oop passes, showcasing his PG-ish skills
-He had some nice, if slow, moves to the basket
-But also a nice turnaround fadeaway, which was impressive and Durant-esque, not Anderson-esque really
-I like his hair, that counts I’m pretty sure
-No turnovers to go with his four assists
-No way he’s a bust after scoring 17 points
And even if I DID compare him to Kyle Anderson, I have an abnormally high opinion of that dude, so it would actually be positive for Ingram to be compared to such a dude. Okay?
