Brandon Jennings 17 Points Full Highlights (1/7/2017)

Brandon Jennings got ejected from this game with 21 seconds left to go, but it happened in the backcourt while everybody else was busy playing basketball in the frontcourt, so there was no good video angle for it. It wasn’t even really a fight, anyway. Joe Young must have said something to him and he got mad about it, so while the ref was standing there separating them, Jennings charged at Young like an idiot. That’s how he got ejected. There was video of it but it was so lame that I couldn’t justify including it. Nobody even got decked and nobody got splashed with beer.

DTB’S OFFICIAL NBA FIGHT RANKING SYSTEM gives it a 2/10, and the two is only because it was two scrawny dudes who were involved. Scrawny dudes always the craziest, and if had come to blows, they probably would have been biting on each other and stuff. But in terms of actual fightage, yeah, it sucked.

So the fight itself was lame, but less lame is the fact that Jennings scored all 17 of his points in the fourth quarter of a blowout loss to the Pacers. He was taking any shot he wanted out there, which is exactly how he scored 55 once upon a time. If he’s ever going to replicate that magical performance, he better hope the Knicks get blown out by thirty in the first quarter so he has the rest of the game to do this stuff.
