Two good games for Brandon Ingram, both leading to Lakers wins? I don’t even know what to say. My argument for him being the biggest bust ever is quickly being dismantled, brick by brick. Actual bricks here. Not the basketball kind. It wasn’t even that great of an argument to begin with, it was so flimsy that I never even wrote a description about it, and now it’s just about gone.
The only reason I wanted him to be a bust (and why I hate Julius Randle and his lumpy-ass face) is because I’m jealous of Los Angeles residents, who get to look at bikini-clad females all year round. I’m sitting here, freezing my ass off, wearing a hoodie INDOORS, which should never have to happen, and every chick I see is covered head-to-toe in a billion layers of jackets and mittens. It’s like a bunch of lumps walking around, no curves, no feminine features at all. Where are the heinies? Not here. Not in these parts. And I wanted Brandon Ingram to be a bust so that some small amount of the pain I feel would be inflicted on Lakers fans. Is that so wrong?
Ingram had another nice all-around game tonight. Dammit. He showed once again that he can score over smaller defenders. His moves still look pretty herky-jerky to my eyes, but the smoothness will come with time. Giannis looked about as spazzed out his rookie year, and look how he’s doing now. God, please don’t let Ingram become as good as that guy. Lakers fans already get to see all the primo booties they desire; a stud to replace Kobe would just be too much.
