Such a shame that the Hornets 18-point fourth-quarter comeback came up short in the end. Frank Kaminsky was clutch until he missed a potential game-tying three with 24 seconds left by trying to draw a foul. You know the refs aren’t going to call that at that point in the game! Lesson learned, I guess.
However, thanks to the Hornets’ spirited effort, we were bestowed something far more valuable than a Charlotte victory; we got another James Harden 40-point triple-double! Without the comeback that necessitated his return to the game, we’d be looking at just another great game for him, instead of a “utterly mind-blowing if it were anyone else but him or Westbrook” game. For his part in it, Kaminsky has my thanks.
