Cristiano “The Brazilian Shaq” Felicio: ready for more minutes? He was relatively effective against the Knicks, playing 25 minutes and scoring thirteen points. He only grabbed five rebounds (I bet Taj Gibson was stealing his rebounds) but he didn’t accumulate any of the “bad” stats (turnovers or personal fouls). I thought conditioning might be an issue for him since he is visibly tubby, but he didn’t look as gassed at the end of the game as I thought he minght.
Felicio actually played more minutes than Fropez last night so perhaps this is indeed the beginning of the end for the crazy Lopez brother and the beginning of the beginning for the Brazilian Shaq’s ascension to the starting center role. Whatever the Bulls are doing isn’t working as well as they’d like; inserting another non-shooter into the starting lineup certainly couldn’t make things any worse, right?
