I got a ton of views when I uploaded Kyle Korver’s first good performance with the Cavaliers. A ton. Like 70,000. It was great, seeing that many people get hyped for a roleplayer.
I expect the same sort of reaction to this video, if not more. You thought 18 points for a white-skinned three-point-specialist was good, try 20 points for a white-skinned three-point-specialist! Mike Dunleavy is only a little worse than Korver, but is just as white. Him scoring 20 should elicit an equivalent response to Korver scoring 18.
I worry, though. When I made a vid for Luke Babbitt’s first good game with the Heat, 16 points with a couple threes, hardly anyone watched it! Maybe people’s love for roleplayers doesn’t extend past what they can do for championship contenders? I’d hate to assume that, but the view counts tell a horrible story.
