Is it just me or does Norman “Norm Median” Powell kind of look like Derrick Rose? It’s not just me. It can’t be, because I’m looking at this thumbnail, and I’m seeing a slighty less dopey-looking version of D-Rose. This is something that everyone blessed with the holy gift of sight should be able to see. I don’t sense much of a similarity with their respective playing styles, though, so this comparison will start and end at “they could be brothers, maybe”.
I guess they can both dunk the ball, so that’s a similarity right there. Now we’re getting somewhere! Except Rose hardly ever dunks anymore, and when he does, it’s with none of his former power. Powell, on the other hand, tries to get as high as he can on every single slammer. He might have only one dunk, the leaner, but it’s a good one. Better than windmills that miss more often than not (I AM THROWING SHADE ON TERRENCE ROSS).
