Cross another one off the list. I can rest easy knowing that if I died tomorrow, the DTB Highlights Archivium would contain within its storied walls a VHS tape showing Fred VanVleet scoring points in an NBA game.
In case you’re wondering, yes, VHS is the preferred storage format of The Archivium. It was either that or Betamax.
Anyway, this isn’t the most amazing performance ever, and you’re probably waiting for me to upload someone better, but I don’t care right now. You cannot blame me for falling under the spell of Vleetsanity. This is a guy who doesn’t look at all like he should be in the NBA, but here he is, scoring double digits in way less time than it has taken Bruno Caboclo. He inspiringly made it out of the armpit of the Midwest, Rockford, to play professional basketball as a sub-six-foot guy. How could I ignore that?
Yeah, I know they say he’s six feet tall. Do you really believe that? This is the league that claims J.J. Barea is a six-footer. Just watch this vid. There is no way that he is anything taller than 5’11”, and that’s probably being generous.
