Iman Shumpert has seemingly rediscovered the long-range shooting touch that made him such an intriguing player in his second season; he’s now shooting 40% from three, and while he’s no longer young or intriguing, he at least can be a competent low-volume guy to complement the Cavs’ big three (LeBron, Kyrie, and James Jones). They did just trade for an allegedly better shooter at the same position in Kyle Korver, but if Shumpert is actually shooting a higher percentage from threeworld, then there’s no reason not to start him instead.
In fact, the only POSSIBLE reason I could think of to bench Shumpert (other than his wild inconsistency) is his horrible flat-top turned man-bun. It’s not even a bun. It’s just a clump of hair. In my ideal world, Shaqtin’ a Fool would switch from its current dumb format to a format where it just showcases players who have stupid man-buns or very bad facial hair. I think that would be sufficient deterrent for man-bun owners across the NBA and maybe it would make Shumpert bring back the flat-top, which was hella rad.
Does anybody know how to use Twitter to harrass Shaq? If so, leave a YouTube comment with very specific instructions and maybe screenshots, because I’m no good at Twitter.
