There was nothing sadder than watching Skal Labissiere sit at the draft last year and look on as everyone around him got selected. Just him and Deyonta Davis, wondering why the heck no team wanted to take them. Everyone knows that feeling of being unwanted, and the idea of your unwantedness being shown to millions around the country… it’s devastating. I can barely handle it when I get left hanging on a high five. Imagine being rejected repeatedly by the NBA after spending so many years trying to get there.
Well, now he’s here, seemingly no worse for wear after that and his later abuse at the hands of DeMarcus Cousins. He’s here and he can get buckets. This vid showcases more of what we saw after the Cousins trade last year: buckets in all sorts of ways. Posts ups, put backs, crossovers, if someone just watched his highlights they’d come away with the impression that he was one of the NBA’s premiere players.
