More and more evidence is piling up that Victor Oladipo is too good for this channel. I thought he was too good for it last year, which was wrong, but now that I’m trying to make up for lost time he decides to average 25 a game? If this is my last Oladipo vid of the year, don’t say I didn’t try. Because I did. I tried to make this work, but Oladipo doesn’t want this to work. He wants to be an All-Star, which is great for him, but not great for me.
Oladipo must be getting really good, because watching this vid, it doesn’t even feel like he scored 35. That’s the mark of a good scorer, that they score so easily that it doesn’t leave any lasting impression. Someone like Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (not making any sort of comparison between these two players, just an example) has to fight for every bucket, while Oladipo just went out and did his thing and notched 35.
Against his former team, remember. This is what they call a “revenge game”, and Oladipo exacted all the revenge he could as his teammates let him down and cost him a win against Russell Worstbrook and Paulina Georgette.
