In case you wondering, DownToBuck is still hard at work on the first of many sci-fi/fantasy novels comprising my epic “Taurean Prince” series. No, this upcoming literary masterwork isn’t about the NBA Taurean Prince. He’s the inspiration in name only. What it is about is a race of humanoid/bull-like hybrids called the “Taures”. The main character is a prince of these creatures, thus, a “Taurean Prince”. They have their own planet and everything.
I don’t want to spoil too much of the story, because this thing is gonna rock the high fantasy community to its god-damn core, and I want it to be a total surprise. But one thing I can say is: talismans. Plural. More than one. Also: exposed titties. Not like in an erotic way though, because DTB doesn’t deal in smut. The deal with the titties is that the chicks of this race just have them hanging out all the time. It’s a cultural thing, and their culture hasn’t invented shirts yet. Or bras.
Yes, I realize that I have shared these details with you before. So here’s one more tidbit: spaceships. Oh my god. I’m going there. Titties AND talismans AND spaceships. Originally this project was going to be a bildungsroman, but now I’m thinking more along the lines of “space opera”. Or both. Frickin’ both. Hell to the YES.
