Josh Richardson Career High 27 Points Full Highlights (12/1/2017)

Josh Richardson has been broken this year. He’s worse in basically every category over his other two seasons in the league. Scoring rate, worse. Shooting percentages, worse, especially from three. Turnovers, worse. Assists, worse. Rebounds, about the same, but slightly worse. The only thing he’s been better at is starting every game instead of just some of them. Is that why the Heat are kind of disappointing this year? Because they’re starting a non-factor on offense?

It’s not all doom and gloom for J-Rich (Jason Richardson is so dead that I figure I can reuse the nickname now), though. There are still positives to be found. For one thing, he scored 21 points in a game earlier this season. That’s a good amount of points! For another, I think he plays pretty good defense still. And his hair is looking good.

Tonight, he scored 27, in total defiance of his abysmal offensive play to start the season. Where did this come from? People don’t usually come out of severe shooting slumps by scoring a career-high. Shaq being in attendance might have had something to do with it, or it might be because MCW is such trash that he couldn’t help himself. I’m leaning with the latter. That guy is straight up cursed.
