Caris LeVert 21 Points/10 Assists Full Highlights (12/7/2017)

Ha! Ha! The heavily-touted Thunder lost again! This time, to a team featuring as its best player… Caris LeVert? Rondae Hollis-Jefferson? Spencer Dinwiddie? Whichever of the three you pick, there’s no way a star-laden team like OKC should be losing to the Nets as currently constructed. This game is way more of an indictment on the Thunder that it is a victory for the Nets.

Credit to the Nets, they played well, coming back from a back first-quarter deficit and putting the clamps on in the fourth. When the Thunder trotted out Kyle Singler for a big chunk of time late, I knew it was over. Caris LeVert had one of his best games as a pro, maybe his best, putting up 21 and 10 (and 0 turnovers) while sort of limiting “MVP” Russuck Badbrook’s shooting percentages with his defense. Pretty much a complete game for him, but his assists were what impressed me the most. Who knew he could pass this well? Nets fans, probably, but I’ve never seen him make this many good passes in a game before.

And if you’re wondering where 2 of LeVert’s 21 are, they’re missing, because those goofballs down in Mexico didn’t feel like showing one of his dunks. I have no idea how good it was, maybe it was sick, maybe it wasn’t, but we’ll never know. We were robbed of the opportunity to know.
