I just got done making a vid for Troy Daniels scoring 32 with 7 threes, and I’m struck by how similar he is to Wayne “Beef W” Ellington. Ellington maybe isn’t as inconsistent, but they are both the “shoot 10 threes per 36 minutes and do nothing else” kind of player. My favorite kind of player. There aren’t too many three-point specialists as specialized as those two dudes.
I was worried for a second when they cut to Udonis Haslem pretending to faint after Ellington made his 6th triple out of 6 attempts. He’s pretty old, you know, and I thought maybe he was fainting for real because of how old he is! LMAO! For real though, Ellington was hot as Flamin’ Hot Cheetos (which is to say, really hot, but not super duper ultra hot) in that first quarter leading into the second. Hot enough that maybe this time someone outside of Miami will notice and remember his existence.
