Looks like we’re gonna see a lot of Jonas Jerebko tomorrow against the Cavaliers. I assume that neither Gobert nor Favors are going to recover in time, and Jerebko is one of the few remaining players on the roster who can me described with the adjective “big”. I doubt he can play center effectively, but he’s totally a power forward. Just pencil him in for 40 minutes. Udoh can have a similar amount of minutes at center. Winning strategy for sure, as long as you get someone to take out LeBron’s knees.
We’ve already been seeing a lot of Jerebko this season, at least, more than I expected. And he’s been doing okay. Not wowing me like rookie Jerebko, but he’s been solid. Solidly solid. An asset for any team, as long as that team’s fanbase really likes white players more than usual.
