Kyle Kuzma 27 Points Full Highlights (12/22/2017)

Kyle Kuzma continues to flourish in his rookie season with bigtime scoring outbursts. Reminder: he is shooting over 50% from the field. That’s crazy for a rookie who isn’t a big man (basketball-reference lists him as a power forward, I’m not sure how much I believe that) and it makes me mad that last year’s draft class was so disappointing. Pretty much the only thing I live for these days is the promise of new players entering the NBA and having highlight-worthy performances (as Kuzma has done sixteen times now), so you know that the quality of my life has been raised significantly by having these rookies come in ready to play basketball.

Even if Kuzma doesn’t win ROTY of the year, which he very well might not thanks to Donovan Mitchell and Ben Simmons, he can at least win LROTY (Lakers Rookie of the Year), an easier award to achieve since he only has to beat out Lonzo Ball (playing better lately), Josh Hart (LOL), and Thomas Bryant (has yet to appear in a game, and his existence is only hypothetical). If the Lakers don’t give him a trophy for that award, I’ll send him an envelope filled with burned Hot Pocket crumbs that can be his trophy.
