My rule of thumb is that when a player makes more free throws than field goals, you know the highlight video for that player is gonna majorly suck. Studiers of DTB history might remember that, in some of my very first videos, I didn’t even show the free throws because I deemed them too boring. I was onto something there.
Tyreke “Reke of Putrefaction” Evans’ statline was skewed heavily in the “boring” direction with his eight made field goals and his fourteen made free throws, including his final seven points. He threw in seven rebounds and seven assists for the quintessential “LeBron” line, but the assists only slightly ease the tedium of the free throws.
I really wish Tyreke could bring his season average up to 23 or 24 PPG so I could say once and for all that he’s too good for my channel, but even if he did, it wouldn’t allow me to retroactively reclaim the time I wasted making this lame, free-throw-laden highlight video.
