Is it a coincidence that Jeff “Green Energy” Green starts playing the most efficient ball of his career as soon as he is teamed up with LeBron James? Trick question! Or, more like, obvious-answer question, because the answer to it is so obvious that it doesn’t need to be asked. This is just more evidence that LeBron is one of the GOATs of All Time, like anyone even needed more evidence. Wringing efficient basketball out of the quickly-decaying lifeform of Green is impressive, though. Almost as good as the time he made Drew Gooden not look like total poo for a few years.
But if Green is playing really efficiently and is scoring at a rate maybe a little better than his career norms, why does it feel like he sucks? Now there’s a question without a clear answer. I certainly don’t have one, because I don’t sit down and watch every Cavaliers game, so someone with more firsthand knowledge of the Green Energy Experience would have to step in and save me from my ignorance.
