Watching Bam Adebayo highlight videos just isn’t the same if there’s no Eric Reid describing every one of his slam dunks as a “Bam Slam” while Tony Fiorentino goes “oh man”. Since I found the Adebayo Experience to be so lackluster without those two providing the commentary, I had to provide my own commentary. I recommend that you do the same.
It’s easy! All you have to do is yell “Bam Adebayo with the Bam Slam!” every time Adebayo dunks it. Then, in a softer voice, you have to chuckle and say “oh man”. I just tried it out and it toally works. It’s not as good as the real thing, but it gets your blood pumping and your, well, I won’t tell you what it does to your downstairs equipment.
What didn’t get my blood pumping was some of these assists. I was looking forward to a display of point-center wizardry out of Adebayo, but that’s not really what we got. All I can say is that it’s too early to pencil in Adebayo as a more athletic Nikola Jokic.
