Justin Jackson 17 Points Full Highlights (2/2/2018)

Every player on the Kings except for Georgios Papagiannis and Jack Cooley has started at least one game for them. Justin Jackson, with ten starts, is just one of many players who has been declared to be “starter-quality” by whatever mysterious entity it is that determines those things. I guess I can’t argue with that assessment: he started, and he scored seventeen points, which is an impressive point total for an unproven rookie who doesn’t get very many minutes. For at least this game, he was absolutely, unambiguously “starter-quality”.

It seemed like the Kings’ decision to field a seemingly-random starting lineup against the Warriors was going to pay dividends, but they squandered their early lead and ended up losing anyway. I expect that, next game, we’ll see another random assortment of marginal role-players starting for the team, and there’s a good bet that Jackson will be among them.
