That is one pointy chin that Dragan Bender possesses. It’s like a spearpoint mounted on the bottom of his head. Most of the shots of his face during a Suns broadcast are more frontal, so his head looks really quadrilateral but not as sharp in the chinnal area.
It’s, like, in front of his face.
Anyway, it’s way better than having one of those non-existent chins that makes you look like you have no bottom teeth, so it’s not so bad. Makes him look… distinguished.
Tonight, he used it as a weapon to ward off defenders, scoring 18 in his second consecutive good scoring game. He’s done this before, this two good games in a row thing. Last time, he fell into a gigantic slump immediately after; hopefully, he can continue this for at least one more game before disappearing again. Who knows? Maybe this will actually, literally, really, be the point in his career where he “turned the corner” and became a 10ppg scorer.
A man can dream.
