Gary Harris 27 Points Full Highlights (2/5/2018)

After a slow start to the season, a slow start where I had to wait a whole god-damn month before he even scored 20 and I considered tweeting “#nothypedforgaryharrisanymore”, Gary Harris has really picked it up lately. The last time he scored in single-digits was in mid-December, the previously-MIA 20-point games are now regular occurrences, and even the Nuggets themselves are looking a little steadier.

He also hit a game-winner on national TV. That wasn’t this game though. They wouldn’t put the Hornets on a nationally-televised game unless Michael Jordan announced his unretirement and laced up for the team that he owns.

The first quarter was kind for Harris in this one, as he hit five triples to try and end this game before it really started. Those were the only threes he hit, which sucks because I wanted him to go for the record, but he made up for it with some nifty finishes at the rim. Do we know what the record is for most layups in a single game is? I bet Jakob Poeltl holds it.
