Gerald Green 16 Points Full Highlights (2/6/2018)

Will Gerald Green ever find a home? Will Houston be that home? He hasn’t spent more than two seasons in any of his numerous NBA stops. He’s already kind of old at 32, so I can’t decide whether I want to him to stick with a team for once and have some constancy in his life or if I want him to go for the “most franchises played for” record. And no, the Bucks don’t count.

If anywhere would keep him for a couple seasons, Houston would be the place, assuming they don’t fire D’Antoni and replace him with a coach who wants the team to do something other than shoot threes. Green will be a decent chucker off the bench for at least a few more years, even if his dunking ability fades, the willingness to shoot threes won’t. You can take the dog out of the fight, but you can’t take the fight out of the dog, is what they always say. Does that even apply here? Idioms are frickin’ hard.
