Now that Rashad Vaughn is no longer on the Bucks, I don’t have to be mad that Sean “$ean$wag” Kilpatrick is taking his minutes! That’s good, because I do kinda like him even if his jumper is the most wildly inconsistent thing I’ve ever seen.
Seriously. It’s a tossup whether he swishes it or misses everything. A couple games back he dropped someone with a killer crossover, then absolutely BRICKED the shot. It doesn’t matter if he’s open or guarded, or how far away from the hoop he is, every shot has the same chance of going in. Open layup? Might as well be a three-pointer for him.
He was looking pretty decent for the Nets last year, but this year they didn’t seem interested in playing him anymore, and maybe I can see why. Consistency is not really his strong suit, but he can get buckets, and I’m willing to overlook his deficiencies because of that. If there’s one thing I like, it’s buckets.
