Luke Kornet 11 Points/4 Blocks Knicks Debut Full Highlights (2/8/2018)

Most teams, if not all, have gotten good use out of their two-way players by this point in the season. A few among them have used up those players’ eligibility and been forced to get new ones, and one (the Suns) signed a two-wayer to a real contract because of how good he was than waived him like a week later because of how much he sucked.

The Knicks fall into none of those categories. Tonight was the first time either of their two-way players saw the court, maybe even the first time they were even eligible to play. I don’t understand why they have waited so long; it’s not like their team is headed to the playoffs or anything, so why not try and develop some talent? Whatever. The first of those players is Isaiah Hicks, whose 5 points, while impressive, are not enough for a highlight video, sadly. The other player?

Luke Kornet.

YES.

He did not disappoint. No lie, I can’t even remember who that supposedly good player on the Knicks was who tore his ACL or whatever and was big and white. Does it matter? Not anymore, because Kornet is in the house, and he’s ready to BALL OUT. 11 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, the kind of debut that another inferiorly-kneed bigman who has been made so irrelevant that I can’t think of their name could only dream of.
