Tyler Dorsey strengthens his stranglehold on the title of “Best Dorsey in NBA History” by dropping in eleven points against the Magic. There’s not a lot of prestige in that title given that the other three NBA Dorseys have sucked rods varying in size from “medium” to “obscenely large”, but it’s something he’ll be able to tell his grandkids one day: “I’m the best Dorsey to ever play the game. Remember that, kiddos.”
That’s assuming that another Dorsey doesn’t make it to the NBA by then and outdo Tyler’s middling career achievements by averaging seven or eight points per game. Maybe one of Tyler’s own children will steal the crown from him. That’s assuming that he has children at all. I’m making a lot of assumptions here.
Here’s a title that nobody can ever steal from Dorsey, however: “Best Active Dorsey in the NBA: October 2017 – February 2018”.
