At what point do the Hawks sit Dënniß ßchrööder with a nonexistent injury? I’m thinking after the All-Star break. They’ll claim something like knee soreness, dress him up in the fanciest suit they can find, and have him sit soundlessly on the bench while Isaiah Taylor commands the tank straight into the dirt underneath Philips Arena.
Schroder does nothing for Atlanta right now, other than win them slightly too many games and make them semi-watchable. And wring some usefulness out of Miles Plumlee. It pains me to say that, but its true. He’s the only truly legit NBA player on the roster, like, one that’s definitely above average (now that they traded Luke Babbitt away), and it’s too late to trade him.
Waiving him would be a bad idea, though. I think they probably want him for next year.
